MWDesign undertook a detailed research project into each of the the main markets, Commercial, Retail, Museum, Art Gallery, and Architectural environments. We identified the needs and frustrations within these different market spaces through observation, photo journals, by doing and most importantly by story telling. Many potential new products were discovered along with some harsh home truths. Armed with this vital knowledge the design process moved swiftly and decisively with all partners aimed at the same target. This was a critical step in the process for us, moving all of Selecon’s suppliers along on the journey with us, from plastic moulded to die cast powder coating.
