CARRY IT
Is there a better way to move sheet materials around a building site?

Tools are developed from a direct need to solve a problem. Tools are what have aided our rapid evolution and enabled us to master the environment we choose to live in. For those of us who choose to live in the very convivial urbane environment with warm dry and quite surroundings, we look no further than Gib board.
Although for the builder, its difficult to install. It is heavy, comes in big sheets and is brittle when not attached to the framing. It is really heavy when installing it on a ceiling by yourself.

Our client presented us with the concept of a multi-tool to carry, lift, leaver and align Gib board.
This particular problem was personally experienced by Sam day after day on the building site. Solve this problem and it would be a revelation within the construction industry.

The client was a dream to work with, able to provide almost instant feedback to design changes that were developed, prototyped, and amended. The client provided valuable on site testing and contributed to the design process being involved in all aspects of the project.

The CARRY IT sports a handle able to disperse 50kg plus across your hand. Wet and dirty hands aren’t a problem with the CARRY IT’s non slip grip.

CARRY IT was specifically designed to allow you to walk through a doorway with out having to dip down avoiding damage to the GIB from crashing into the door jamb. Using the foot leaver CARRY IT allows you to use both hands to support and screw the GIB in place. Using the roof support screw point significantly reduces damage and speeds up the ceiling Gib installation process.

All this means reduced lifting injuries, a happier building crew and a faster construction period.
