True to the tradition, music venue the Burgerweeshuis in my hometown Deventer, organizes a great festival called 'Des Konings Trio' (The King's Trio) every year on King's Day. I was commissioned to create the designs for the edition of 2014. This time I wanted to create an American(a) feel, using a battered Dutch flag that I created from scratch in Photoshop combined with the right typography done by hand (with brush and ink) which gives a cool vintage touch to it. It fits the mood of this rock 'n' roll party.
