This project was an assignment in a Form Design class taught by Ruth Fowler at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta Georgia where I'm a recent graduate of the design program.

Inspired by the Hindu god Shiva, the master of dance, the goal of the Dancing Lamp was to capture a moment of suspension and grace as a dancer frozen at the height of movement. There is a sense of kinetic energy, tension and a need for resolution.
