SYMBIONT is the concept of the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), which was part of Student Design Project in Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2011). The main task was to create innovative, modern and bold form of vehicle, which matched the current trends in Automotive Design.
The Design process started with a research of the SUV styling lines, which was followed by conceptual sketches, that became the basis for the 3D model creation in the CAD/CADM software Rhinoceros 4 and renderings in Keyshot.
The cooperation with 3D printing company resulted in the 1:10 3D printed model, with use of the SLS technology (polycarbonate material). 3D printed shell was vapor treated, sanded, coated using primer and final spray painting with 2 layers: base mettalic and clear, glossy lacquer.
The project has been shown at numerous exhibitions and earned Behance Product Design badge.
