Chonas ia a pretty old restaurant in the Khan market locality of New Delhi, India.
The project was to redesign the interior of the restaurant. The quirky wish of the client to not go for a false ceiling, leading to exposed AC ducts, and the nature of the establishment (a pub) were the starting points for the concept.
The project involved designing the space as well as bespoke furniture. The fitments were designed and sourced in accordance to the concept.
The restaurant has now, rebranded itself as Retro-Chonas.
