The brief was to design a feature article on Kenneth FitzGerald’s article Chaos Theory to compliment the fictitious magazine we created called Quill. Quill has a typographic pre 1900s aesthetic and focused on traditional typography. The embellishments and typographic detail is in line with the magazine. The articles starts out as orderly and gradually the borders diminish to convey a sense of chaos. If you look closely you can see changes in the typographic details in the body of text. Every change convey a different tone and is somewhat chaotic to read.
