The first time I made Captain America was 2008, so I was really excited to remake him in my new style for 2012. The socks used for his body are hand dyed by me. I couldn't find the proper blue I wanted to use, so I made them. His shield is removable and carefully modeled after the real thing, only, made from felt. The socks used for his body and limbs are sewn on my machine and then everything else is assembled and attached by hand.
