Bululs are sculpted figures regarded by the Ifugao people of northern Luzon as rice crop guardians / dwellings of ancestral spirits. They're usually carved out of wood, but for my version of it I used a clay dough made out of flour, salt and water. This is my first attempt at molding! Obviously the finished product is still rather crude, but I had a lot of fun making it! The first of many more molding projects, hopefully.
