I've always been captivated by works of fiction pertaining to science fiction or particularly fantasy. With this book redesign I took a supplementary book to the Harry Potter series, "The Sorcerer's Companion".
Originally the book was black and white with very minimal imagery, majority of which contained no captions and didn't follow the text as well as it could. With this book I tried to incorporate more imagery with the text. Imagery was meant to flow within the book as if it were alive, or "magical". Thus the reason for the fading in and out of Germanic ruin ribbons.
Speacial feature on wand types and what wand types five of the main characters possessed.
The book's owner can be write the wand wood and core of the owner's choosing.
A slight nod to the Half-Blood Prince, a nameplate was added to insight a proud owner to write their name.
