Boiling Point

Promotional material for the project
Boiling Point

About:
Boiling Point is the original project created as a place of social encounters with
contemporary painting. It is design to help affirmation of young visual artists
and encouraging interest in painting within a broad audience.

The challenge:
In times of overproduction, when the emphasis is on fast production and cutting costs,
how to approach the preparation of materials for the promotion of an event which deals
with something completely opposite?

Solution:
Inspired by the painting creation process itself, which is time-consuming, tedious and full
of exploration, we emphasized what audience often forgets - the painting is much more than
what we see in the end. In the process of development, which lasted for three months, polystyrene
beads were hand cut out, painted and applied to the posters. Typography was specially printed in silkscreen.

The result is a series of "boiling" posters that we didn't use as the basis for the mere placement
of information, but treated as a painting, which was the foundation of the entire project.
