Always Create a Piece of HeART

Typography
Always Create A Piece of Heart

I've used this line for MAD Fest, but for the Graphic Design Festival in Breda (NL) I did a new piece. Unfortunately it didn't make it in the 50 selected posters out of 2126 entries, but even so I still feel passionate about this one. It's made up out of stamps of a heart. Lost count of how many, probably a few hundred.

One day I read a small story about art. Which said that it's not just the object you're buying. The artist has put his heart and soul in every aspect of it. You're not just buyin a piece of art, you're buying a piece of heart. That led to my motto: 'Always create a piece of heart.' Not just meant for myself, but for everyone.

The green color stands for the color of money. A lot of the time it's money that drives people. I can totally understand that; you need the pay the bills and feed your family, just like I do! But money is the wrong thing to be thinking about when you're creating.
