Raised in rural Pennsylvania and professionally trained in NYC, Abbey Biery brings a unique perspective to cake design. She learned how to make cakes from the older generations in her family and has coupled that knowledge with her love of fashion and art. Abbey's approach to her work embodies the idea of "vintage modern", not as a trend, but as an authentic representation of the way she approaches her work.

Her baking is made with love and simple, high-quality, local ingredients--just like your grandma's kitchen with sophisticated design and decorating -- a cake that not only tastes good but looks stunning.  

It has been said that we are sum of our experiences.  We believe we are more.  The sum of who we are is greater than the total parts because these parts combine, contradict and multiply to give way to a new existence.  This is vintage and this is modern -- an ironic juxtaposition -- this is poetry.
