APPAREL INSIDERS
Apparel Insiders is an online magazine delivering a no-nonsense insiders' perspective on the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary fashion industry.

Founded by Gus Floris, the former associate publisher of both Sportswear International and Women’s Wear Daily, Apparel Insiders features a broad spectrum of plugged-in contributors and staff with over 40 years of combined experience within the fashion industry.
This group certainly has the experience and unique point of view, what THE HUMANS helped with was creating internal alignment to have clarity and control over their message.

For their Visual Identity we looked to create a clean a crisp style that took cues from fashion details. We knew that it needed personality but also knew that the sites content is the star so it couldn't be loud. We compared it to a great museum that knows when to step forward and greet you and when to step back and give the stage to the artwork, in this case the reporters stories.
The Apparel Insiders logo button was created to establish brand recognition in a clean and simple way. Cues were taken from vintage denim buttons. The typeface used is RD Granados' Bockhold.
