I created three different sized banner advertisements for Jo Nesbø's The Bat for it's release in the United States on the main page of Knopf Doubleday's website. From top to bottom, the ads are for desktop, tablet and mobile viewing.
Using the marvelous cover art of Nesbø's book by Henry Steadman and Peter Mendelsund, I generated 3D renderings of each book using Photoshop. The background blends a stone texture with grey to go against the diagonal direction The Bat is in. While the call-to-action button, "Find Out More" plus the arrow, is lettering I created using a grease pencil and scanned into Illustrator to create a vector image.
This project was on Knopf Doubleday's website through the month of July in 2013.
