Yet another project from my time as a junior designer with the Cast Communications design team in the Walt Disney World NewsRoom, my role was to create the title graphics and overall look of Disney Cruise Line's new Cast Member newsletter, "Oars and Ears". Anchored by Captain Mickey (provided by the character illustration team at Disney Design Group), the title graphics are infused with the tried and true nautical themes of blues, reds and golds, and the elegant nature of Disney's ships reflected in the script typeface. The nautical flags, incidentally, spell out "D-I-S-N-E-Y-C-R-U-I-S-E-L-I-N-E".
