Logo proposal for a 5K run that takes place in the city of windcrest, Texas around Christmas time. The route winds its way through the festive town where the houses are bedecked with Christmas decorations and lights. I thought that Christmas lights were important to the design, and felt that a ice effect would fit nicely with the winter theme of the run. I created a ice runner for a few of the designs, and tried to incorporate the twinkle lights in the design some way. I tried to think more on how the design would be used rather than as a logo, so on T-shirts, posters, banners, and other marathon marketing.
