I was having Kebap (or Gyros?) on a sunny day in Queens with Arlette, a friend of mine, when we saw this completely bleached out pinup of a girl behind the windshield of an old Buick (Roadmaster?). We both had to laugh and the idea was born. The Pinups are shot in Cabourg/France on the beach and then laminated on different sorts of commercially available car shades. Cars are provided by friendly neighbors.
