Angola. Savana. A fisionomia lúdica, grotesca, surpreendente do Embondeiro, árvore secular, distingue-se
nesta vastidão lassiva e quente. A referência histórica e cultural interveio no projecto de mobiliário urbano, reforçando a sua identidade local. O ferro fundido, material nobre, deu corpo ao tronco e aos ramos da árvore que suportam as réguas dos bancos de jardim. A madeira utilizada é autóctone. Os dissuasores, pela mesma razão em ferro fundido, sugerem o tronco, embora mais elegante. Serviram ainda de suporte à papeleira, de dimensões avantajadas, como é prática local, cujo cesto é executado em aço metalizado e pintado, aço galvanizado ou em inox.

Angola. Savannah. The playful, grotesque and surprising physiognomy of the secular baobab tree, is distinguished within this lonely and warm wilderness. The historical and cultural reference intervened in the street furniture project, strengthening its local identity. The cast iron, a noble material, gives body to the trunk and the branches of the tree, which support the slats of the park benches. The timber used is autochthonous.
The bollards, in cast iron for the same reason, suggest the trunk, but more elegant. They also served as support to the paper bin, of considerable dimensions, as is local practice, whose basket is produced in metalized and painted steel, galvanized steel or stainless steel.
