Lightspeed Systems has helped thousands of schools around the world protect and engage more than 10 million students. I led the design of the Mobile Manager product that is revolutionizing the way schools manage their mobile learning programs.
Mobile Manager is a web based application specifically designed for K12 to allow IT staff to efficiently manage Bring Your Own Device and 1:1 program initiatives. There were numerous challenges to solve for in the design including quickly navigating complex organizational structures, centralized management of device inventory, reporting, updates and installs, remote configuration and application deployment supporting multiple operating systems.
