Lightspeed Systems has helped thousands of schools around the world protect and engage more than 10 million students. Working with the team I was responsible for the redesign of My Big Campus. Part social network, part learning management system, and part content management system, My Big Campus is changing the way teachers, students and parents participate in learning.
My Big Campus takes all the features of an LMS (like lessons, assignments, reporting, calendars) and puts them into a safe, collaborative community. The design was based upon an intuitive interface with a focus on usability and scalabilty. Some of the features include feeds, profiles, groups, media libraries, discussions, messaging, file storage, assignments, calendars and reporting.
