The depth of an object goes beyond its dimensions.

By drawing shadow over shadow it’s possible to generate a three-dimensional sensation,
subtracting light and adding darkness the contrast achieved simulates the effect of one
surface flying over another. Where darkness dominates light dramatic and expressive
creations are generated.

Bodega collection refers to cellar art  or better known as chiaroscuro , a technique of
extreme contrast of light and shadow used by Caravaggio, one of the most famous Italian
painters of all time. This movement was so important that in its time that multiple schools
were founded only to teach this technique, where artist set up their workshops in cellars
with small windows which allowed them to practice this particular style.

The term chiaroscuro  implies a sharp transition from darkness to light, losing nuances and subtle color transitions, resulting in theatrical figures and textures, like this piece.
