For this project, I choose John F. Kennedy and his contribution to the US space program. I wanted to focus on a big light source which, what better light source then one of a rocket being launched off Kennedy's name in the same font as NASA.
Originally, I wanted to encompass the NASA logo and have the rocket in the background and off to the side. Afterwards, thanks to creative feedback, I dropped the NASA logo idea and choose to have the rocket be more prominent, also allowing the background to be more colorfully like a sunset. From there, I made revisions to the rocket exhaust to make them more like clouds then added a shadow to the text to better show the brightness of the rocket.
