National Simulation Study
Inhouse Branding for NCSBN's National Simulation Study, 2010-2012
The Research Department conducted a longitudinal study exploring the use of simulation (mannequin patients) in nursing education. We decided to keep the silhouette of the human profile to evoke both the mannequin and human aspects of the study. The logo is also reminiscent of an eclipse, representing a new phase of nursing education. To read the findings of the study, visit the simulation study website on NCSBN.org.
Pictured above: An iron-cross fold brochure was created to garner interest with potential university study sites and student volunteers. The goal of the brochure is to engage the reader by having them literally unfold each layer, thereby unfolding a new piece of information in the process.
Pictured below: Giveaways produced for the study participants included sharpie pens, pins and notebooks.
