The pictures of our family become ours by relation and in turn, become a collective memory. Moments passed by, moments unwitnessed, become collated fragments of lives that move in parallel but never in conjunction. Memory can cause false, blurred, or fantasized realities. I examined Imagined Memory, False Memory Syndrome, Self-Perception Memory, False Recognition and Hindsight bias. For each memory theory I reflected on personal experience of how my own memory has falsified my own perceptions through abstract illustration.
