Designing the Brand Identity

We have been involved in the brand renewal project for relaunching ‘잠깐학교’ of Life Long Education In Chungkang College Of Cultural Industries. ‘잠깐학교’ is a “Momentary School”. It is a place where one can start a life afresh with the concept of ‘momentary’ being a key word.  We came to the conclusion to view the word ‘momentary’ to mean a place where you can drop by for a moment, ‘a momentary instance to reflect on your life’, and that these moments come together to form a lifetime.  Based on these concepts, we expressed these ‘moment’ as single dots where each individual dots come together to form vowels and consonants to form a logo type design concept of ‘잠깐학교’.  The combination of curves and straight lines deliver the soft impression of ‘잠깐학교’.

Graphic Motif

If a dot represents a ‘moment’ in one person's life, we felt that a person can freely pass through these dots. The twenty-five dots that form a free curve within the logo of ‘잠깐학교’ are used as graphic motifs of the school. The graphic motif that are formed by connecting each dots can be formed freely by anyone.​​​​​​​
