My role as the project leader for the Qantas First Class Lounge was to ensure the delivery of both the Sydney and Melbourne lounges.

 

During the construction of the projects, I was based on site permanently on the Sydney project, working closely with the builder and sub-contractors, resolving issues as the came to hand, while also flying back and forth to Melbourne looking after that project simultaneously.

 

 In 2009 Jennifer Hudson interviewed me for a write up on the lounges for the book INTERIOR ARCHITECRURE, FROM BRIEF TO BUILD and the book was published in 2010.

 

It was a good opportunity to share my experience in working on such amazing projects and show a side of the projects that most people don’t get to see.

 

Defiantly the most interesting part of any project is watching it develop from a blank space to its final completion.
