The fridge of Europe captured in scenic textures and photographs
The Glaciers of the alps are one of the highlights in every tourists trip to the mountain range. Located in deep valleys they are one of natures most pristine masterpieces on earth. Formed by wind and weather over thousands of years, these slow giants never fail to impress.
However glaciers are also one of the most fragile parts of the alps, as most of them are affected by rising temperatures. Snow and Ice piled up as far as hundreds of meters, a highlight to everyones eyes, may be gone in a few decades.
