In todays world we consume and interact with the digital realm wherever we are. We have devices that reach out and handshake with a gateway to the world of digital media and information. These gateways are everywhere: In the cafe, on the metro, in the street and at home. The internet can be accessed almost everywhere in our bustling cities. This enables us to tap in at anytime and be transported to the newsroom of the world or the stadium seats of a football match. Books, videos, music, articles our friends all within easy access via a screen. Our Smartphones have become more than just tools to communicate, they have become another way to connect to the world around us. That has opened the doors for another type of device. A device category that bridges the gap between a smartphone and a computer laptop. The Tablet
In this photoshoot I was tasked with capturing the act of people interacting with tablets. digifi.it is a company that distributes, animates and brings to life digital content such as magazines. The vision for digifi.it is "Your Content, Everywhere". This short but powerful statement alludes to the idea of being able to display your content on any smart device, be it smartphone, tablet or computer with the same experience cross platform.
I took this idea and vision and applied it to the physicall location of where you interact with content. You can read a magazine almost anywhere. On the tube, in the waiting room, cafe, bench on the platform. What you see is a collection of photographs which digifi.it will use to hit home that message.
