A CSŐ! régi budapesti neonreklámokat megelevenítő posztersorozat. A szitanyomott plakátok megvásárlásával egy kiválasztott neon felújítását finanszírozzuk. A megvásárolható plakátok szitanyomással készülnek. A grafikák és a CSŐ! logó foszforeszkáló pigmenttel lett kezelve, így a sötétben kellemesen derengenek, megidézve a neonreklámok hangulatát.
Az 50x70cm-es méretű plakátok feltekerve, papírhengerben kerülnek a vásárlókhoz.

CSŐ! - a cool way to greet someone in Hungarian that also means (neon)tube. This series of screen-printed posters are inspired by the iconic, old neon signs of historical Budapest. By purchasing a print, you also help to restore a real-life neon sign and give them back their old glow! Our posters are screen-printed, the texts and the CSŐ! logo were treated with fluorescent pigments and they softly glow in the dark, just like neon signs.
Rolled up, the 50x70 cm/ 19x27 inch posters will come in paper tubes. The first series of posters were inspired by signs that are familiar to anyone who has visited the Hungarian capital. Most of the signs were made in the socialists era.
A plakátsorozat első szériájában olyan ikonikus reklámok szerepelnek, mint a Csemege kosara, vagy a Kézimunka, amin minden valaha a bulinegyeden végisétáló ember röhögött már életében, legalább magában.
Emléket állítunk még a Kedves presszónak is, ami sajnos már nem található meg a városban, illetve grafikai formát öltött az
„Óvatosság, Türelem, Udvariasság” neonja is, ami pedig a „Biztonságos Közlekedés” neonreklámmal együtt figyelmeztette
Budapest közlekedő polgárait.

Kedves - Kedves is one of the nicest words in Hungarian, quite literally, as it means nice, kind and dear. It was also the name of a highly popular bar back in the days. Pronounced with a soft “sh” at the end, it’s the epitome of cuteness.
Csemege - csemege means delicatessen and the word is seldom used nowadays. This old type of deli was the only place to get high(ish) quality goods, such as freshly ground coffee or fruits. The small basket represents the shop and shopping.
Óvatosság, Türelem, Udvariasság - something we can live by today as well.
Caution, Patience, Politeness - they glowed over the cityscape to remind everyone involved in traffic to pay attention and travel safely.
Kézimunka - There are hardly any locals, who haven’t giggled at least one time at this, currently still existing sign, while strolling through the party district. In Hungarian handcraft can be expressed with the same word as handjob.
