Inktober 2018
Inktober 2018 was not finished, and I still regret this. I was working for a company (which shall not be named) that consumed all of my free time. I went heavy on color (digital) and really played with the themes this year. (I will revisit and finish the last entries at which point I will update here and elsewhere.)
2017 is the first year I've done the Inktober Challenge. This is my second year, and I ended up not finishing it in 2018. However I do plan on returning to this year and finishing the prompts. I used the official list from Jake Parker. I didn't use any other themes, but the artwork are heavily inspired by aspects of my life and loves. I was influenced by my love of comics, fantasy, dragons, pirates, and history.
They were all drawn in ink, scanned, and then digitally manipulated and colored to create the final artwork that I felt worked best. It is based on the style I've used for the past year or so of Reddit Gets Drawn portraits. I love to draw, and the best thing about this is that I choose which photos to draw, however, I have received many requests from people for me to do their commissioned portraits.
