Knowledge in architecture and graphic design: what relation?
Group project, May 2012
Presented at the École Supérieur d'Art et Design Grenoble-Valence, on the occasion of the conference cycle of the same name organized within the line of research "Enjeux du design graphique".

As part of the conference cycle organized by my school in 2012, I was part of the group of 5 students
who designed the exhibition's design that echoed the round of conferences and round tables. The exhibition featured work by former students and designers who worked on the relationship between architectural
and graphic design knowledge.
We designed a scenography based on a database of information about the designers and projects on display. A grid on the ground served as a structure and we therefore offered toenter the exhibition space by different points according to the characteristics of the projects exposed. We designed the furniture of the exhibition
and a booklet for visitors to provide them with additional informations on the works presented
and on the classification system used for the scenography.

1. Scenography
We have represented the intersections of an imaginary grid on the ground. By combining a database on the exhibited works, we offered a reading by several entries in the space of the school hall. Thus the visitor can decide to follow a chronological, the- matic or media path.
2. Furnitures
Wood and cardboard
The presentation of the works was articulated around wooden support which we designed to expose the open books, and boxes of cardboard archives to echo the notions of organizations and classification present in the interventions and the scenography.
3. Booklet
A5 notebook, loop fastener
This edition explains the organization of the works and the sce- nography, and gives full information on the exhibitors and their work in relation to the proposed theme of the conference cycle. It takes up the codes of the archiving through its binding and its organization.
