In this project task, we were fortunate to inspire the culture of Japan. The investor was expecting a project at the highest level of design. We were very free to prepare an aesthetic proposal. We began by presenting photos of the inspiration and preparing the selection of samples of materials that would be finely wanted in the project. Our vision, together with the investor's enormous experience, was accepted after two conceptual meetings.

MATERIALS / INSPIRATIONS
The choice of the material was quite obvious to us. We inspired Japanese traditional wooden architecture. We fell in love with the aesthetics of the Japanese onsens. We studied how wooden houses were constructed. The interior of traditional houses has a very regular breakdown on floors, walls and ceilings. We wanted to translate all this knowledge into a modern-day restaurant design language.
LIGHTS
The inspirations to create an art project with Ola Niepsuj come from Ola's Japanese travels. Street lights combined with colorful billboards and rainy weather found their place in the decoration concept on the wall behind the sofas in the restaurant.
