This was an illustration that I created for the Holiday Recipe Contest put on by They Draw and Cook. The contest runs through the month of December. Judges have voted selecting their favorite 31 recipes which will be featured each day on the Food Network's Blog The FN Dish. The top 4 recipes will be posted on December 28, 29, 30 and 31. All of which will receive cash prizes from $200, $300, $500, and $1000.
For my holiday recipe I choose my favorite Christmas cookie. "Spritz" are basically buttery sugar cookies. I don't think its possible to eat just one.
The final illustration is 16.667" x 6.25". Acrylic, painted LP covers and cut paper on illustration board. Check the process below.
