MAZDA rebranding of the future

Mazda. Sign of the future.


We'd like to present a concept of visual identity bringing Mazda brand into a new era of automotive design.
Staying faithful to the philosophy of unity of the japanese design and being inspired by modern technology - we've created an emblem which integrates it's traditional identification function with a physical object and it's functionality.

In our vision the symbol is a result of a wider comperhension of branding. It creates the brand corporate image, starts a relation with the product and reflects it's nature.

To complete the minimalist emblem we've added a logotype that strongly refers to the current Mazda typography. This way we wanted to preserve continuity between current identity and the logo of the future.

Simultaneously within the project we've created a concept car and a series of animation clips showing a practical use of the new logo and it's new functions within the product.

We invite you to learn about our vision of the evolution of automotive branding.










Growing speed, drivers emotion intensity, driving mode, battery levels etc. All of this can drive the logo's dynamics.
