Puffs Tissues 

 

 

Objective 

 

During this project, we worked with interbrand to create a style guide of myriad elements, including characters, objects, environments, patterns, colors, and typefaces, that could be interchanged to create various Halloween Puffs tissue boxes to be sold in Target. The style guide had to detail how the elements could and could not be used. We were also asked to mock up an example tissue box for reference. 

 

 

Solution 

 

My concept was “The Laboooratory,” centered around a Halloween laboratory. The idea was youthful and fun, but also a less predictable solution for Halloween. All of the characters have their own unique personalities, hobbies, and animal sidekicks. The patterns make use of bolts, beams, circles, and gears—all elements seen in a typical lab. I then expanded the use of these elements to other applications within Target, including endcaps, advertising, and signage.
