TIME Sport's, maker of high-end road bikes and accessories made in France, held an international design competition to commemorate their 30th anniversary and to celebrate the legacy of it's founder Roland Cattin. He believed in and defended these values throughout his life: “Made in France”, “quality”, “passion”, “elegance”, “innovation”.

I was struck by Roland's commitment to making the best carbon products on the market and the only carbon frame with a lifetime guarantee. He did so by bringing nearly all of the production in house so that every fiber and resin met his exact standards. In designing this bike I wanted to convey this attention to detail and I did so by creating a ridable mechanical drawing that when viewed at just the right angle would appear like a flat tech illustration. My winning design was extended through other frames in the series.
