YYC Builders is a Calgary based company specializing in residential construction such as fences and decks. Over the winter months YYC Builders offers Christmas light home installations.

The previous website was causing problems and required a complete overhaul. There were many broken links, confusing navigation, and a daunting intake form. Therefore, the bounce rate was significantly high and potential clients were not filling out the contact form for more information.
Updated website:
By meeting with YYC Builders we established their two main offerings: Residential construction (Decks and Fences) and Christmas Light Installation. This was essential to the creation of information architecture and navigation. Therefore, these offerings were split up on two separate pages so the client could direct customers where necessary depending on the season. Additionally, an About and contact page were created.
The intake form was extremely important to YYC Builders. It was essential to the client that they gather the correct information from a potential customer in order to provide and accurate quote for their services. The previous form was extremely long and daunting. I was able to simplify the form to the basics to keeps things quick and easy for a potential customer. Additionally, a photo intake section was added to allow customers to easily upload photos of their spaces for YYC Builders to be able to visualize and quote correctly.
