In this assignment we had to design a kitchen appliance with a multi-cultural aspect to the design.

In this assignment we had to design a kitchen appliance with a multi-cultural aspect to the design.
We ended up with a Herbal Cabinet concept.
The multicultural aspect required in this assignment comes from the fact that every culture involves herbs to influence the taste of their dishes. Therefore this appliance would also speak to more foreign cultures, by enabling them to home-grow foreign herbs not easily grown in this climate.
Personal Role
During this group assignment I focused on supplying part of the conceptual sketches (among which the chosen end design of the herbal cabinet) as well as research data into the necessities of controlled cultivation of plants.
