Design Concept :
Wedding invitations can have more shapes other than rectangles.
Bride Cake Wedding Invitation is a delicate design filled with “completeness and perfection.”
Bride Cake Wedding Invitation is a delicate design filled with “completeness and perfection.”
The design concept circles around the “circle,” which represents completeness and perfection. It is a blessing I give to my friend Christine for her marriage. It also resonates with the line on the invitation card, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. (Matthew 19:6)” The invitation card shapes like a bride cake, and the structure of the key vision xi (囍) follows the same circular shape. The character xi is smooth and sleek; scattered round images are like the ingredients on the cake. Overall, the design is very different from the common rectangle shape. I hope in this design, I can bring a little surprise to the recipients and make this wedding invitation a souvenir that can be passed on.

充滿「圓滿」感的精緻大圓餅囍卡設計
喜帖整體設計環繞在「圓」上，象徵了圓滿、完整，也是我送給Christine的祝福，並以此呼應卡片上的詩文「So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Matt 19:6」。卡片設計如大圓餅，主視覺囍字的結構上也環繞圓的型態進，字體設計流暢圓滑，在字體外灑上各式圓角圖形，就像是餅上的各種配料。整體不同於一般喜帖的方正設計，我希望提供收到喜帖的人更驚喜的感受，並且讓喜帖成了可留下的紀念品。
