Launched on February 3, 2013, Literature & Laundry seeks to inspire and support a love for reading among children who live in neighborhoods where reading scores are low. The program is sponsored by The Order of the Daughters of the King, Annunciation and Ruth chapters, St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Washington, DC. The group goes to laundromats on Sunday afternoons with books to read and give to kids. They embarked on this important work because they believe a child who reads is more likely to succeed in school and life.

To strengthen their presence in the community, L&L asked me to design a logo and banners to display on indoor and outdoor banners, as well as tote bags and mugs.
