Kid's Paper Toy

University, Summer 2010
Communication Design II
Prof. Joe Bottoni

Child's toy designed out of paper, with focus on capitalizing on the material's unique characteristics.

These paper frisbees were constructed out of 2-ply bristol, which makes them sturdy enough to be played with outdoors but light enough to be played with indoors. The frisbees can be pre-assembled or easily assembled into shape and secured with a simple tabbing system. They are cheaply produced in a variety of colors and graphics because of its 2-color system, lays flat for easy and efficient transportation, and can be recycled after its playtime is complete.

These frisbees are packaged with two sets of five colors for a total of ten toys per package. Each color is screened at varying percentages to give the illusion of more printed color without relying on a conventional 4-color process.
