A commercial I created with my team from start to finish. The brief from the client: Tell the story of a trackside engineer, the unseen side of Formula One whose life revolves around race tracks, laboratories, hotels and airports.
So to make a mundane story more entertaining to watch, we wrote a script that captures the very soul of the brands promise: To deliver a well engineered product that were developed from Formula One, an environment that demands precision.
With that, the film was shot to be edited to capture the repetitive life of the engineer, but in precise rhythmic fashion, giving it pace and energy to the spot. Using the drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas to help keep the engineer on his toes, the work towards an excellent product from PETRONAS never ends.
