The JDK Group: Catering & Events Internship

For my internship with The JDK Group: Catering & Events, I had a lot of projects and responsibilities from May 2017 to August 2017. One of the weekly projects I had to do was to create menu cards for the weekly catering events. It was my responsibility to follow the event planner's creative brief to make sure that the menu cards match the theme of the event. Listed below are the components for a wedding that I was in charge of to create the lay flats of the menu cards, reservation signs for the ceremony seating, cheese labels, and dips/spreads labels. The menu cards and the reservation signs were folded in half to create a tent label. The small cheese labels were designed to be glued on sticks to be put in the trays to be seen on any side of the buffet. The dip/spreads labels were designed to look like luggage tags to have a hole punched on the right hand side to have twine weaved through and tied to the jars.

The theme of The JDK Group's summer was #summer2savor and I was designed to create the web banner for the landing page of the #summer2savor campaign.

The art director tasked me with designing eBlasts for the #summer2savor campaign where the eBlasts would be emailed to clients to consider The JDK Group for any future events. Using Adobe InDesign to create the layout of photos and type, each rectangle was sliced in Adobe Photoshop to upload and reconstructed in Constant Contact.
