Major League Soccer (USA).

Trivento is the first wine to enter as a sponsor of Major League Soccer in the USA.

And he commissioned us to develop his communication for the entire 2019.

Wines are not very common in the world of football and Trivento is a brand that is beginning to develop in the US market. In addition, brands with much more experience in this territory, such as Heineken, Coca-Cola and EA Sports, are also sponsors of the MLS.

So we needed something that would make Trivento stand out and also allow us to circumvent the restrictions that all sponsors must meet equally. We could not show the famous player we wanted (like Zlatan, Rooney, Schweinsteiger or David Villa) or a football team in particular, as a sponsor of the competition we should be careful.

So we decided to opt for a totally different path, among all the brands that there are to choose from, we would tell the people who chose the best: Trivento. And for that, we would not use the most famous player or the most popular team in the league, we would create our own team and as we could not show a particular player, we decided to make the player disappear, putting the focus completely on the clothing and increasing notoriously the branding for our client.

For that we created a macro claim, which can be used throughout 2019:

And 3 micro claims for the 3 most important milestones in the league.
