China Celebrity Bloggers Experience
To support Fairmont Hotels & Resorts hotel opening across China, we arranged leading influencer bloggers from travel, lifestyle and food theme. A total of 4 bloggers were arranged to be picked up for a 5 days travel experience across new Fairmont properties in China - Fairmont Beijing, Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai and Fairmont Yangcheng Lake Kunshan. The project increased Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand awareness of their properties in China, as well as supported the new Chinese website.
Bloggers not posted the overview of each property, but they also posted live tweets via Sina Microblog platforms that received a lot of comments. Overall the bloggers were impressed with the details of service, the story each property has to tell and the awareness of Fairmont brand growth in China. Two of the bloggers later on continued for a trip to Canada, where we encourage them to visit several of Fairmont historical properties.
The initial report from 4 blog posts resulted in 140,000 views. While 77 Sina Microblog posts from the bloggers generated over 1,000 retweets and 3,322 comments.
