Playtech is a local online magazine with a main focus on technology. This summer it launched its first print issue and they asked me to illustrate their front and back covers, which I gladly accepted, since I love editorial work. ^_^ The theme of this first issue revolved around the evolution of technology in Romania in between the 90s and today, so, after making all sorts of concept sketches, I decided to use the two covers as a single canvas and actually show this evolution like it is: a view inside Romanian homes and the progress from bulky computers, floppy disks and brick games to sleek monitors, tablets and wireless speakers. To strengthen the concept I drew everything isometrically and mirrored, so as when the viewer opens the magazine, the two windows seem to be at the corner of a building. I super enjoyed working on this and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. ^_^
