Stories in September
Stories in September was conceived by audio documentary producer Helene Thomas and photographer and author Andrew Wilson. Their aim was to provide a platform for Tasmanian stories to be born, revitalised, watched and heard through the mediums of film, audio and print.
They put a call out for stories from across Tasmania, and they received submissions from all over. In September, the festival’s signature event 30 Stories in 30 Days took place, with a diverse program, showcasing the stories of Australia's island state.
