Didi Refresh: Meet DeeDee

With the recent Uber rebranding, I was inspired to do a refresh of DiDi's homepage. Didi is a pretty usable car-sharing product in China --but the homepage to download it from is not easy to navigate.
Before (Current Mobile View):
Didi's current mobile homepage has cool animations. However, I'm not sure where to find the navigation (I discovered it was the two horizontal bars --hot dog menu?). The search function was not usable either.

My goal: To create a way for users to download the Didi app or find a car easily.
After:
I slid the navigation into a hamburger menu because it's a common UI pattern. Also, I included an option to download the DiDi app in the menu, as well as after the user scrolls.

As the user scrolls down, she can see options to find a car (DiDi Express), DiDi across the world, and to get Accessibility rides (if she is disabled or has children).
Before (Current Desktop View):
Didi's mobile view problems are similarly reflected in the Desktop view. It is difficult for the user to find the navigation (hidden in the two horizontal lines) or use the search function to download the app or find a car.
After:
To simplify the navigation issues, I broke the nav down into 4 sections. I also included a CTA to download the app in a central location to users have no trouble getting the app to get a car. Because the user is likely on a mobile device, I focused on creating the mobile-first experience and translated it to desktop.
