I had an old Wacom Intuos 3 that died on me a couple years ago, so I decided to re-purpose it as a canvas for an Oil Painting.

The 'working area' of the tablet had gesso applied to it and sanded down to create enough tooth for the paint to stick.  The painting was done in multiple layers using thin half-pastes and glazes.  After it was completely dried, I oiled it out with medium and later added a thick layer of high gloss varnish for protection.
